All new applicants are required to submit the following information to be considered for acceptance at Saint John Nepomuk Catholic School:
Immunization records
Birth Certificate (official certificate issued by state, not the hospital)
Baptismal Certificate (Catholic applicants only)
Copy of Current Report Card
A Copy of most recent Standardized Test Results
Custodial Agreement (if parents are divorced)
Students entering Grades 1-8 must provide copies of report cards for the past two years, academic test results, and if applicable, copies of Individualized Education Plans (IEP) or Individualized Service Plans (ISP) at the time of application.
Students entering grades 1-8 may be required to have an admission interview. Families will be called to schedule an interview if this is necessary. Students entering Kindergarten will be invited to screening sessions.
Registration Fees
Families are required to pay at least half of each student’s registration fee when he or she is registered for the coming school year. The total amount of fees to be assessed is $300.00 for the first child and $280.00 for each additional sibling. For those families who choose to pay only half of their fees at the time of the initial registration, the balance, or second half of the registration fees will be due to the
school office no later than June 1st. In addition, all new Pre-Kindergarten (3), Pre-Kindergarten (4) and Kindergarten students will be assessed a fee of $300.00 at enrollment. The fee is credited to the student upon enrollment in the first grade. If a student does not enroll in the first grade at Saint John, the fee is not reimbursed. This fee will be waived for families that currently have children in Saint John School, grades Pre-K (4), K or 1-8. This assessment fee may be paid in two installments as well with the registration fee.
Reports will also be reviewed during this time of registration to assess eligibility for the parishioner tuition rate that is determined by being a registered member of Saint John Nepomuk who regularly attends Sunday liturgy and has a record of contributions to church totaling $750.00 annually. The Parishioner tuition rate will not be approved until this process is completed and verified.
